its couldve been good

half of a song is the title if you draw someone in by using something famous as your theme title you better fuckin deliver. sadly you failed. you had someone say all your base and that was it the music was nothing like the game was nothing like the original planettribes compilation which only added voices to the original soundtrack. so rename this and be original. music 7/10 false advertising 1000000/10

I don't really see anything wrong with creating a entirely different song that's not just another remix off an internet meme. But hey, some people just have really strong feelings about it I suppose.

As for 'half the song' being the title - I could probably have named this song "Donkey Punch to the Groin" and nothing about the song itself would have become drastically better or worse. So I likewise disagree there.

well its pretty good

but you definitely need to have it remastered. i have t give it an 8/10 4/5 though because of that. the tune and melodies are fairly good its got decent flow but the lack of mastering makes some parts kinda painful to listen to.

I hate to be crude, but you have a real misinterpretation of music. The beats could definitely be DNB, the overall song could actually. Though it's definitely a classical influence, it can fit either way.

Rating a song based on misplaced genre is also faulty. Rate in on the actual material, not where you think it should be. But hey, thanks for being a dumb ass and giving me a worthless review. This review is as good as no review. Unless you have some useful to say based on the music and material, don't review. It's simple.

And no: Genre misplacement is not relevant to the actual music.

not the best 8bit ever and 8 bit can be super awesome. maybe a low caliber guy will use this. sorry but thats all i think youll get from this. try again though youve got some skill

You're right. Looking back on this one, it's definitely not my best. I've posted a remix of Land Down Under in 8-bit, and in my opinion, that one's much better.

its not bad

but not good either. so for when you start work on it heres my take:

1. id say it needs alot more bass
2. try switching the synths focal points seems like your bg synth was in the fg(foreground)
3. triplet snares and a melow tom would fit in well...least i think so
4. the way you have it try adding a tsugaru you might be suprised
